Welsh/English Carol Service in Morley, Leeds

The Leeds and the Bradford Welsh Societies will be holding a joint Welsh/English Carol Service at the Central Methodist Church, Wesley Street, Morley, LS27 9EE on Saturday 15th December 2018 at 2.00 p.m. There will be Christmas carols, prayers and readings in both Welsh and English. Here’s a wonderful event if anyone can get along to it - an evening of carols with Côrdydd - the choir that wins frequently in the Eisteddfod Cenedlaethol - and the proceeds will go to the Cure Parkinsons Trust.

It costs £10 a ticket and will be held on 7 December in the Conservative Club, Fairwater, Cardiff. Contact details in the poster below.

Noswaithau Nadolig Sain Ffagan - Christmas Nights in St Fagan's

Hi all, Saint Fagan’s Christmas Nights are back on this year- Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6th to 8th December. I went last year and it was fabulous- heaps of things to do, and almost every member of staff there speaks, or is learning, Welsh. Thoroughly recommended if you are in the vicinity, and more details below. £15 per adult or £8 for a kiddie- but there so many extra staff and entertainers there that it is very good value.

A Welsh language carol service taking place in London

That’s the language, not the people.
