Is it just me, or do things change all of a sudden and you realise that you can begin to understand Welsh more than you thought? I am on level 1/19 and yesterday at the Plaid conference in Swansea I was able to get the gist at least of many of the speeches. I do watch Welsh Tv quite a lot and have good friends who help me out with pronunciation, but I just wondered if others suddenly got to a point where Welsh in general started to make sense? I’m on such a high!

I have definitely felt those moments along the way, and they are like wind in my sails propelling me onward!
