Ie and nage

I am slowly getting to grips with the many different was to say YES and NO in Welsh. However, in the SSIW lessons/challenges I have yet to come across “ie” and “nage”. When do these expressions apply in spoken Welsh?

Those are used when the question you’re answering doesn’t start with a verb (i.e. a focused or emphatic question). e.g. Oedd hi’n bwrw glaw? Oedd/Nagoedd but Bwrw glaw oedd hi? Ie/Nage
