Look up

In my SSiW course (South) I learn that the Welsh for “look up” is “disgwl shalân” Is this the same for a number of different uses for the expression “look up” - as follows

To look up at the plane in the sky

To look up a word in a dictionary or a number in a telephone directory

To look up to someone whom you admire

I’m not used to using disgwl (I use edrych), but I think you could use it for the first one. For the second, chwilio am would be more commonly used, and for the third it would be parchu.
