I was really interested to hear one of our lovely Eisteddfod sponsors on Radio Cymru today. She was taking part in the programme with Carol Parry Jones discussing people who have a big change of career and their reasons for doing that.

Angharad Gwyn from Adra was talking about her decision to give up her career with the BBC and move back to north Wales. She started up a small business promoting and selling goods made in Wales through her online shop.

Another of our sponsors, Becca from The Welsh Gift Shop has had her mum and friends making short Welsh recordings on YouTube so that people know how to pronounce the Welsh on gifts she sells.

She’s also made a video where her mum speaks the words to the National Anthem very clearly, so a great way to learn and very timely for St David’s Day coming up, as well as the Six Nations rugby!
