"that they didnt"?

In level 2 lesson 10 there is somethign i cannot find in the vocab list.
In “They told us that they did not want to explain” , it is the ‘that they didnt want’ part that i dont reecognise. something like NAH-GUIN-NOO ? (apologies  )
Laterally, it seems there are different ways of ‘didn’t’, there’s the you and we didnt, so’gi and so’nin, but then they didnt is doni dimm or the vehicle above?

Anyway, back to having my ears twisted.

The Welsh phrase you are looking for is
Dwedon nhw wrtho ni nag o’n nhw’n moyn esbonio.

As for there being multiple ways to say “didn’t”, it’s important to keep in mind that “to do” often serves as an auxilliary verb, and you can’t really match English and Welsh sentences one-to-one. I know that’s not much of an explanation, but trust me, as you go through the challenges, and as you get more exposure to the different patterns, you will get used to them.

Pob lwc, dal ati! (Good luck, and keep going!)
