my 2 cents for what they are worth.
My general rule is listen to lesson 1 until you don’t have a problem with any of the material, I know 80% is recommended but you should be spitting out ALL the Welsh in the gaps before the response. (I find sometimes I’ll mess up but I’ll immediately realize my mistake whilst hearing the Welsh repeated back so that’s acceptable)
Now I will move on to the lesson 2 and listen to the whole thing once through. (side note take a short break at the 15 minute mark, do something completely different)
my next lesson will be revision of lesson 1 then back to lesson 2, my “working lesson”
I continue to practice like this: lesson 2 then back to 1… 2 - 1. 2- 1 and so on until lesson 1 becomes boring!
at the moment I’m on Level 2 Challenge 15 and my day looks like this:
L2 C1 (revision lesson) followed by L2 C15 (my working lesson)
L2 C2 - L2 C15
L2 C3 - L2 C15
L2 C4 - L2 C15
L2 C5 - L2 C15… and so on
once I get up to speed with my revision lessons
ie: lesson 14. I’ll go back to the lesson where I feel the content on that lesson is not cemented in my brain. (keep notes of your progress)
if you find 'yeah I know this stuff inside out tick it off your revision list.
obviously you need to dedicate 1 hour a day
(2 lessons) minimum.
I believe lessons 5, 10, 15, 20, 25. are kimd of recap lessons with some extra stuff thrown in so in the furute i intend on revising just by listening to these lessons. I’m fact I think lesson 25 is one big revision lesson of the whole level so perhaps that alone will be enough.
phew! hope this helps. like I say this is just how I personally study.
