Welsh Places in England!

Hi there is a Welsh chapel in Harrow, Middlesex, walking distance to Harrow and John Lyon schools. Some great history and views in that area.

Been there once because the Welsh school had a concert. Great place, thanks.

We had to meet up with someone the other day in Crewys Road, NW2 - a name that looked plausibly, but not necessarily, Welsh. Nant Road and Llanelly (sic) Road in the same area confirmed it, though. It now counts as Golders Green, but I don’t knew what the history of the names is. Welsh dairies, perhaps?

Sounds like the milk trade is probably behind it but I don’t know. There is a Crwys Road in Cardiff which also adds to the Welsh language connection.

In case anyone wants to watch, I just noticed this in the S4C listings for this Sunday (16th Aug)

Ah, now I remember someone in the 80’s crashing into me. When we exchanged addresses etc, I said, “Wow that’s interesting, a Crewys Road in London”. It didn’t go down well
