Welsh Storytelling Festival Online July 4th

Reimagine: Beyond the Border Online will be a 1-day mini-festival on Saturday 4 July 2020, presented on Beyond the Border’s Facebook page and YouTube channel, with a mixture of free and ticketed live streams and pre-recorded storytelling and music in English and Welsh.

The Welsh Stories for Learners will be 1pm-1.50pm this Saturday on Beyond the Border’s Facebook and YouTube channel @BTBStorytelling. The storytellers include Mair Tomos Ifans, Tamar Eluned Williams and Welsh Learner of the Year 2019, Fiona Collins. The stories are performed in Welsh and suitable for beginners to intermediate level.

Prior to this session there are two family story sessions, one in English and one in Welsh suitable for ages 5+ - again this might be something that would interest your followers.

I liked the story about the Cardi…

This is brilliant! Here’s a link to the stories for Welsh learners - well worth watching! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ukvwz9Lc1iM

Brilliant, thanks for sharing. Loved the story about the naming of Yr Wyddfa (and Fiona not being able to find the word in the dictionary - learner’s nightmare!)
