What's outside

diolch am dy ateb! I’ll take a look online.
Thanks for the answer! I will take a look at the book and probably get it anyway. I’d really like to find some sort of book that has pictures and the names of the plants and trees in welsh. I don’t know if you know of any? Or indeed if anyone else has a good reference book for wild flowers, plants, and trees?

Iolo William’s “Llyfr Natur Iolo” is without a doubt the best book to get! :slight_smile: The photos are fabulous and its in Welsh with a Welsh index and an English index :slight_smile:

Robin goch comes for cheese crumbs, it took some time to find it’s nest which
is in a dark place so young which hatched this week may not produce a
photo.

Lovely name, and you can see why when you look at the seed head.

The picture of the female brood chaser is so crisp and clear. I don’t think I could get close enough with my iphone to take a photo like that; what are you using to take your photos? Diolch!

Heno, welais i ceirw, (beth yw’r enw ar ‘fawn’ yn Gymraeg, unrhyw un ?}

My dictionary has “fawn” (animal) as elain or hydd ifanc (technically that last, I think, is “young stag”)
