I have just returned home from 4 weeks in the UK and the highlight of my trip was a visit to the London Welsh Centre on a Thursday night. The London Welsh Male Voice Choir rehearse on Thursday evenings, visitors are welcome to sit in and listen. It was a wonderful night of beautiful and powerful singing (both in Welsh and English) and I’d highly recommend it as a brilliant language and cultural experience. Then, these very friendly fellows invited us upstairs to the bar for a few pints and some fabulous spontaneous singing.
