Hi, I am English but living in Wales. Gorslas, Llanelli [near Crosshands] I am a retired nurse and would love to be able to speak Welsh. I love Wales and all things Welsh! I did sign up for Welsh lessons in 2006 when we moved here but found it too difficult to keep up with the others.
“Say Something In Welsh” is the first course I have seen which seems to be realistic enough for me to try again!

Since the above I have done Mynediad 1 and 3 months into two at Coleg Sir Gar Llanelli. I have also attended a couple of day courses at Trinity St Davids. But…it’s a slow learners course and I really need to try and speak! SSIW looks great for actually trying to speak. Hopefully a local group will be just what I need to get going but need someone with experience to start me off! I frequently get the blank rabbit in headlights syndrome!
