The pub in the village of Llandwrog near Caernarfon has been closed for the last 3 years. A new venture ‘Menter Ty’n Llan’ https://tynllan.cymru is hoping to re-open the pub as a community enterprise and are encouraging people to support the project by buying shares.

Llandwrog is in a very Welsh speaking area of course with over 80% of the local population speaking the language, and one of the main aims of the enterprise is to support the community and the Welsh language and I think that’s where us Welsh learners can show our support.

Bechod! I seem to have discovered this 2 days after the closing date … Well, if they DO manage to open, I guess I can at least go and spend some money IN the tafarn at least …
