Menter Iaith Blainau Gwent, Torfaen a Mynwy have set up three new meetings. In addition to the one in Monmouth there is a Clwb Clonc 1.30 - 2.30 on Wednesdays in the library in Brynbuga (Usk) and a breakfast club at 9.00 on the fourth Saturday of each month in the Bell Hanger (St Mary St) in Cas-gwent (Chepstow).

Hi, do any of these monmouthshire meetups still happen?

Thanks,

Andrew

Hello Andrew

Where do you live in Monmouthshire and what is your level of Welsh?

The meetings you mention no longer happen but others occur.
Menter Blaena Gwent, Torfaen and Mynwy (BGTM) are undergoing some change but there are some meetings but you would need to contact them for full details.
The Chepstow Welsh Society meets in Tỳ Croeso. On Tuesday morning 10-11 there is a joint meeting with Menter BGTM. They have their own meeting on Saturday morning 11-1. Attendees on Saturday are usually experienced learners or fluent speakers, I am not sure about Tuesday but some fluent speakers go.
On Monday morning 11-12 there is a small group meeting in the Chepstow Upcycle Centre near the railway station.
On Monday morning in the Hub Centre next to the library in Caldicot there is an informal meeting led by a fluent speaker.
On the last Thursday in the month there is a small meeting in the Sessions House in Usk 2-3.
On Tuesday mornings 10.30-12 there is a small group meet in the Beaufort Hotel Raglan.
There are also some meetings on-line with Zoom, Skype or Teams.
It is planned to have monthly lunch meetings but nothing confirmed yet.
These are a few for you to think about but there may be more that I am not aware of.
