Gwerin Gwent

If anyone from the South East of Wales likes Welsh Folk music, Gwerin Gwent, which is a collection of instrumentalists from across South Wales, will be playing traditional music in the new entrance hall at St Fagans on Sunday 29th October.
The group consists of all types of instruments from electric bass, fiddles, flutes and harps. We have a Nickelharpa, which is a Nordic instrument, and even a pibgorn!
The musicians meet at tune clubs across South Wales, but come together for big events such as this, or the Ty Gwerin which was at the Eisteddfod this year.
