Yesterday I joined the Welsh Speaking Practice group on Slack, and I have just now had my first one-to-one conversation. Several people replied to my request for a speaking partner, and I successfully linked up with my first one just now.
This seems such a great way to meet Welsh learners/speakers if you live, like me, in places where they are rather rare in the wild.
It’s audio-visual like Skype, and has the advantage that you can see who is currently available to chat, who is waiting to, and who has set up a meeting in advance. The more who join, the better it will be for all of us. It’s free of charge.
