Gyda fi

Which particular discussion Helen? That’s a very long thread and contains lots of various questions relating to “gyda”.

I’m afraid that I find the forum difficult to navigate and seem to have posted the heading without finding where to write my comment. I wanted to know why in sentences in the challenges with gyda, such as mae gyda fi ffrind, the ffrind comes after gyda fi, when my welsh speaking friends say, Mae ffrind gyda fi?

Don’t worry - the forum is a bit of a monster, but it gets easier the more you use it!

Both ways of saying gyda are fine, it’s just a regional/personal preference. Just use the one you’re most comfortable with, but at least you’ll recognise the other order when you hear it
